Assignment Commentary: In my art class, the students wanted to create comics, so Marion, our art teacher, let us. I can't remember when I first thought up the character "Puphin", but I thought that it would be fun to make a comic about one of his surfing sessions. Once we had penciled out our comics, our class used ink to color them in. For a final touch I outlined my comic with a black ink pen.
