How to do a flip turn

As you have probably already guessed I am a swimmer. I have been swimming practically my whole life, so it's really hard to explain a flip turn in a very basic way, but here goes:


Swim into the wall until you are about 2 inches away from it.

Then bring both arms straight down to the side of your hips.

When you have finished this step you should look like a ball.


Flip straight over.

After doing this your feet should be perpendicular to the wall.


Push off the wall twisting over to your stomach as you push off.

After completing this step you will once again be in the normal swimming position and can continue swimming .
