Eloise

Kay Thompson's Eloise is an enchanting and entertaining story of a 6 year old girl that lives on the top floor of the Plaza Hotel with her nanny. As she takes us through her day, we hear her own in depth analysis of the world around her, and we meet many friendly but somewhat annoyed acquaintances of hers. The humor in this book is very successfully represented in Hilary Knight's illustrations. This book is definitely for people who enjoy and appreciate the subtle humor of childhood.
