Longboard Surfing

Since I enjoy longboard surfing so much, I thought I would make a tutorial page which is informing and simple. Presuming that you have caught that perfect wave and you're ready to surf, this tutorial will definitely help.


Grab the sides of your board (rails) right next to your ribs and basically do a push-up.


Once you're in this stance simply slide your front foot up to your chest (but remember to stay low).


Now quickly lift up to a standing position, your front foot should be planted in the middle of the board and your back foot on the back part of your board (the tail). Remember to keep your legs spread shoulder-width for stability and to stay, with your knees bent and arms out for stability.
