The Great Gatsby
Set in the 1920s on Long Island in New York, a time
of fast pace, lavish parties and looser morals, The Great Gatsby
written by F. Scott Fitzgerald tells the story of deep but tragic love
between two people. Although faced with many obstacles, trials and tribulations
the amazing love between the fabulously rich Jay Gatsby and the beautiful
Daisy Buchanan persists. The story, told by Gatsby's neighbor Nick Carraway,
is told through elaborate descriptions and rich detail which itself transports
the reader to one of Gatsby's own magnificent parties.
