This piece of work, although not effecting the greatest portion of people in the world, will have an incredibly profound impact on the small number of people who have at one time and or are currently going through the I.B.(International Baccalaureate). Those who are familiar with the I.B. will know that when a student receives a 7 on his or her paper, it is the equivalent of an A+, or a 4.25 GPA. Now, math is by far not my favorite or best subject, but on this particular assignment, my class was given 10 problems, plus 1 extra credit problem. I (with a little help) managed to get all of the problems, including the extra credit, correct, and was therefore given an 8, or an A++ for the day in math. I think that it is important to show this assignment not to boast of my math skill, because I have very little to boast about, but to let all you I.B. students out there struggling with your grades know that an 8 is possible; that with a little determination, and a little help from Jessica, anything is possible.
