DuneDune is an epic Science Fiction novel set on the sand world of Arrakis, or as the natives call it Dune. There is a certain special substance called spice that is produced only on Arrakis. The novel centers on the galactic great houses that vie for control of Arrakis in almost a feudal fashion. The novel shows amazing worldbuilding abilities and is considered one of the greatest Science Fiction masterpieces of all time. The novel has so much depth and seemingly hiden knowledge that it will astound you. Dune is the first published book of the series but 5 sequels and 3 prequels continue the epic story for those that don't get enough from just Dune. |
